3M Bayonet Particle Prefilters can be attached to 3M 6000-series Bayonet Gas and Vapour filters to provide protection from certain solid and liquid particles when used with 3M Bayonet Face masks. Use the 3M Filter Holder 501 to attach a filter to any gas/vapour filter.
3M Bayonet Particle Prefilters are used to add particle protection to 3M Bayonet Gas/Vapour filters. Replaceable for cost savings: these particle filters are designed to be easily replaced for a cost-effective solution, without the need to change the filters. Use 3M Bayonet Particle Prefilters with 3M Gas and Vapour Filters and the 3M Filter Holder 501 to help filter certain particles, including dust, mist, fibres and metal fumes, in addition to a wide range of gases and vapours. Or use these filters with the 3M Filter Adapter 603 and the 3M Filter Holder 501 to help reduce particulate exposure alone. These filters are easy to install and require minimal training. 3M Bayonet Particle Prefilters are compatible with 3M 6000-, 6500QL- and 7500-series half-face masks or 6000-series full-face masks, reducing inventory requirements. These filters provide respiratory protection against particulate contaminants. Not for use in environments directly hazardous to life or health (IDLH) or requiring a filter approved to P2 or P3. Replace your 3M Bayonet Particle Prefilters if they become dirty, damaged or difficult to breathe through.
